Beautiful, Ukranian-born actress Anna Sten–who was wife to the film’s producer, Eugene Frenke–stars as Nadine Nikolas, a young European with hopes of becoming an American citizen. Her aspirations appear to be dashed when she becomes the chief suspect in a murder, but as she prepares to be deported, reporter Steve Reynolds (Alan Marshall) investigates his hunch that a group of international spies was really behind the murder.
