Carried over from the popular radio program, Mr. & Mrs. North was a mystery/suspense show played with light humor. It featured Jerry North as a book publisher, happily married to his charming housewife, Pamela. Each half-hour episode concerned itself with a mysterious crime, frequently involving a murder that the Norths stumbled upon and solved before show’s end.

Shrinking Violet: Pam’s cousin is murdered on a train as she is on her way to visit the Norths. The killer then assumes the cousin’s identity.
House Behind the Wall: The Norths get a flat tire one dark and stormy night out in the country. Upon seeking aid at a desolate house, they are drawn into a murder plot.
The Placid Affair: Jerry unwittingly becomes an accomplice to a payroll heist committed by a dying man and his nurse.
Where There’s a Will: Someone is trying to kill the Norths’ new neighbor, a young man about to inherit a fortune.
