Carried over from the popular radio program, Mr. & Mrs. North was a mystery/suspense show played with light humor. It featured Jerry North as a book publisher, happily married to his charming housewife, Pamela. Each half-hour episode concerned itself with a mysterious crime, frequently involving a murder that the Norths stumbled upon and solved before show’s end.
Volume two episodes include
Model for Murder: Don Santiago, the suave yet cold head of the modeling school in which Pam just enrolled, has been murdered with a fencing epee.
Target: A man obsessed with revenge targets Jerry for death. Supposedly a man looking just like Jerry North had committed an act of betrayal against Garvey while prisoner in a German POW camp during World War II. North is being hunted down as punishment for the alleged transgression, although he claims its a case of mistaken identity. Meanwhile the Norths have to remain in their apartment under police guard until the sniper is caught.
The Ungrateful Killer: A wounded killer, on the run from police and the underworld, forces the Norths to drive him to Montreal.
