Shadow of Chinatown (1936)

A group of European businessmen hire dragon lady Sonya Rokoff (Luana Walters) to destroy Chinatown. She enlists the aid of criminal mastermind Victor Poten (Bela Lugosi), who approaches the assignment with so much zeal that it even terrifies Sonya. Poten disguises his henchmen as Chinese gangsters who wreak havoc in the city’s streets. When a pair of reporters seek to get to the bottom of the death and violence, they incur the wrath of Poten who vows to kill them. Although they manage to escape his nefarious death traps, the reporters find themselves in the middle of an all-out war, as Poten’s nefarious scheme sinks Chinatown into bloody chaos.
