Spooks Run Wild" is the best of Bela’s films that he made at Monogram Studios during the forties ("Voodoo Man" and "The Ape Man" follow as second and third). It is also the BEST of all of the East Side Kids’ comedies. Lugosi scares the kids as they visit him in his creepy old hillside mansion while a crazed killer is terrorizing the town below.
