Street with No Name, The (1948)

The best of all those semi-documentary crime dramas about the exploits of the FBI that 20th Century Fox was fond of making in the late 40s and early 50s. A terrific cast (with Richard Widmark especially good, and even better than he was in "Kiss of Death" a year earlier), and an atmosphere as dark and moody as Widmark’s character, make this one of the very best film noirs.
